The cottages are at the foot of Cruach Marthain (mountain) which was the location of the village in David Lean's movie 'Ryans Daughter'. The cottages are within a 4 minutes walk of Clogher beach and a 10 minutes walk from the set of the Tom Cruise / Nicole Kidman movie 'Far and Away'. A short five minutes drive from the cottages takes you to the Blasket Island centre, with the ferry to the Great Blasket Island only a few minutes further away. The town of Dingle / An Daingean is a 20 minute drive for shopping, restaurants or an evening out at the numerous pubs. The location of Suantra is simply breathtaking, its hard to imagine that places like this exist...it looks like it could be part of a movie set. More
