Anam cre house was built in 2000,so it is relatively modern with a minimalist feel.It is spacious and warm with a lot of glass and wood and light. Situated at the edge of silver birch woods ,views of the Ballygriffin valley and surrounding countryside are available from most rooms.It is 3 miles from the very popular town of Kenmare.A welcoming house for family gatherings or small groups with no sense of being cramped.Its special features include a large reception area with beautiful slate floor and vaulted ceiling. We had a great time, the house is located 10 minutes from kenmare which is beautiful. There are some gorgeous beaches up the sneem road, Derrynane beach where you can see a ruin of a monastery and a beach in castlecove with a great family...More

Room to swing at least three cats. Fabulous mountain views. House well stocked. Has the biggest wood burning stove that I have ever seen. Kenmare is a stunning town. Friendly and full of great restaurants. Healey Gap is a stunning drive
