This character cottage is set in a completely unspoilt area of the peak district situated a mile from the hamlet Of Middleton by Youlgreave. Our driveway is almost a mile long with our nearest neighbour also being approx one mile away. The cottage has two doors, one of which leads to large enclosed private gardens from which there are Uninterupted views stretching for many miles. Internally the cottage has a large downstairs living room/ dining and newly installed kitchen area with full cooking facilities and dishwasher. Beamed ceilings to both downstairs and upstairs. A cosy log burner completes this characterful cottage, especially after the beautiful walks just outside your door. There is extensive private parking, a cycle store if needed and boot washing facilities. The cottage contains a TV, DVD player, range of books, games and dvd's. Numerous footpaths lead from the farm with many beautiful circular walks including the Limestone way which is situated nearby. The Monsal Trail and Tissington Trail are ideal for both cyclists and walkers and both within a few minutes drive. We are situated close to the visitor attractions of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Ashbourne and Buxton. The cottage is an ideal base for walkers. Outdoor pursuits, bird watching, fishing, climbing, history lovers or for just totally relaxing. Many of the pubs have a full range of locally brewed beers. More

About the neighbourhood
Where we are is pretty much a rural position totally out of the way that most people are not use to. Yet within a short drive away you can reach Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Matlock are just a few. These wonderful place are minutes drive away. You can park and leave your car outside your cottage and literally walk or cycle from your cottage door. You will be awe inspired by the beauty of what you see with views, fresh air and a willingness to enjoy yourself to relax. We wont let you down.
Getting around
We are 3/4 mile from the village. B.uses to Bakewell run around 3 times a day but please check. A car is important for you to get around
