We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was clean, well looked after and in a great location. The owners had left prosecco, milk, bread etc which was very thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here!

About the neighbourhood
Go for great walks along the beautiful Kennet & Avon canal and enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of the many wonderful waterside pubs. Close by there is Lacock Abbey where part of Harry Potter was filmed. Other places of interest include Longleat, Stonehenge and Stourhead. The Georgian Lodge is a 1 minute walk from the train station, with direct links to London, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Weymouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.
Getting around
Easiest way to get to Bath and Bristol (due to parking and traffic in the two cities) is to use the train station - it is 2 minutes walk from the apartment and trains go every half an hour.
