Overlooking the gorgeous Gwendraeth Fach Valley, with distant views towards the Black Mountains of Carmarthenshire, Coed Adam enjoys an elevated yet secluded south facing position amid 10 acres of grassland meadow. Surrounded by farmland, you will stay in a peaceful and tranquil place, amid beautiful wildlife. Buzzards and Red Kites are regular visitors, with the occasional visit of a Barn Owl a special treat. Despite being a rural retreat, Coed Adam is a perfect location to explore from.

Stayed at this gorgeous cottage February 2013. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived. Plenty of room. My dog had a blast running on the grounds. Bedrooms are an excellent size and very comfy beds. Only 10/15 min drive into carmarthen where supermarkets and plenty...More

Coed Adam is approached along a couple of miles of quiet country roads, just 2 miles from the main A48 making for easy access, and linking to the M4 just a few miles away. The historic town of Carmarthen is just 6 miles away, and the City of Swansea within 30 minutes drive.

Railway: Carmarthen: 9.7 km
Coed Adam is located a couple of miles or so from the A48 trunk road:

From the end of the M4 at Pont Abraham , take the A48 dual carriageway westbound towards Carmarthen.
In 4 miles, at Cross Hands, continue over the roundabout on the A48 for approximately 4 miles.
Take the left hand turn for Llanddarog and follow the road for about 1/4 mile
Turn Right opposite the White Hart pub
Follow this road for about 1/4 mile out of the village and down the hill - take care please !
At the T junction, turn right.
After about 50 metres, bare left over the small bridge
Follow this road uphill for about 1/2 mile, around a sharp right bend, and shortly after, a sharp left bend
After the sharp left, bare left past the cottage in the middle of the fork in the road *
