Sparth Cottage is an attractive barn conversion, situated in a quiet, picturesque setting near a canal and wooded lake in the Pennine Colne Valley, just outside the Peak District National Park.

The pretty village of Marsden is only 5 minutes walk down the towpath, with many attractions and events nearby.

Through the front door you enter the beamed living room, with wooden flooring and rugs. There's a cosy sitting area to one side (with TV/DVD and woodburner), and to the other side a fold-out dining table and chairs. The sideboard contains games for all ages, and the bookcase has a wide selection of books and DVDs. Wireless broadband is provided.

Just returned from a 3 night break. Lovely quaint cottage. Surroundings are absolutely stunning! The dog was very happy and tired every day. A beautiful well equipped kitchen. A real home from home and we will definitely be returning

The cottage whilst a little bit in need of updating was well equipped and comfortable with plenty of room for 4 people. Its position just above the canal was perfect for easy canal walks in both directions and plenty of good places to visit, drink...More
