The private Hot tub is a key feature in the garden, heated to 38c and can be used all year round.

Symonds Yat is a popular place to visit for our guests. Peregrine falcons nest in the rock.
Autumn in the Forest is breathtaking. You can walk straight from your front door into the woods.
Tintern Abbey is another popular place to visit along side the River Wye.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is different from all the rest, then the Stables accommodation with Hot tub, is for you. These recently converted stables are nearly 400 years old and now provide accommodation for either 2/4 people. The conversion has been tastefully done retaining many of the original features which has created a French Gite type of experience.

The Stables has a beautiful hot tub and patio with dining and seating area alongside. At 38c the Hot tub provides that special treat all year round.

The property consists of one double bedroom with en-suite, one twin bedroom, kitchen/dining area in a light and airy conservatory overlooking the garden with views over open farmland. We are available to help through out your stay and nothing is too much trouble. We will leave you alone to enjoy your break but are on hand should you need us. We will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and show you round to make sure that everything is as you expected. Our approach is friendly and welcoming coupled with respect for your privacy. There is information in the property which outlines things to do, where to go, including personalised maps, as well as details about the property and its history. We also provide an OS map to your walks to make sure you don't get lost!

We have just arrived back. What a wonderful stay. My husband, our children, the dog and myself had a lovely relaxing time. Very lovely hosts to. We have already enquirer for our next trip.

We spent 2 nights here and it felt like we were there twice as long due being so relaxed. Mandy, the host, is wonderful and very laid back, she even left cake and fresh eggs from their own chicken pen for us which was a...More

The property is in the beautiful Forest of Dean, located off the B4136 between Gloucester and Monmouth just outside Coleford in Gloucestershire. It is situated in the Forest of Dean in the beautiful Wye Valley. An area of outstanding Natural Beauty. Most of our visitors travel by car as it is useful to be able to get about during your stay. However, Lydney station has regular trains from Gloucester and our local taxi service is very accommodating and will drive down our track to collect and to drop off.
