Getting around
We are not on a bus route, so most people will find a car essential unless the purpose of the holiday is to walk from the cottage everyday. The walks do start from the doorstep of the cottage.
Without a car, access would be by bus from Gloucester railway station to Mitcheldean and then either walking (45 mins with some uphill) or by taxi. There is no taxi rank, so the taxi would need to be pre-ordered.
