The Old Granary at Shortlands Farm is a traditional stone barn which has been tastefully renovated and modernised to provide a comfortable cottage with all mod-cons whilst preserving the rustic feel and original features. The Old Granary is laid out on a single level so is accessible to all, from babies to the elderly. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living/dining/kitchen space, and a generous terrace within a grassy garden with stunning sea views. The cottage sleeps 6 (or 8 with the sofabed) in two double rooms - one with sofabed, and one twin room. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower over the bath, and a shower room with toilet. Really great location near the sea and a short walk down to a beautiful beach and hotel/restaurant/bar, plus wonderful cliff walks. House itself is next to the owners own house, but french windows in main room open onto a large patio and small garden facing...More

The granary is beautifully renovated and just as advertised. Kate and family are lovely. A highly recommended spot to retreat from the world for a few days.

The Old Granary at Shortlands Farm is in a peaceful hamlet a 10 minute walk from the stunning beach of Druidston Haven.
The Pembrokeshire coast path can be accessed from the end of our bridleway as can the Puffin Shuttle (the local coastal bus) which is perfect for exploring further afield.
You can walk to the local pub/restaurant in 10 minutes, and to the local shop in 40 minutes along the coast path or 5 minutes in the car.
The perfect getaway all year round, The Old Granary at Shortlands Farm is ideally situated for lazy summer days at the beach or long wintery walks, with its large seaward facing terrace for summer evenings and cosy underfloor heating and wood burner for cold winter nights.

Druidston is only 5 hours from London but is a different world!
Accessible by car or train, once you've arrived Pembrokeshire is a great place to explore on foot or on one of the many local buses. By car from Haverfordwest take the A487 (St Davids road), at Simpson Cross turn left (signed Nolton Haven), at small crossroad go straight across, take the next right into a no through road between a red telephone box and a cream cottage, continue all the way to end until you reach a white cottage with a red front door.
