Ashgrove Farm is a lovely apartment perfect for two on a working farm in the heart of the historic village of Llawhaden.
This beautifully presented apartment is cosy, dog friendly and perfect for a peaceful getaway. One small well behaved dog is welcome in the property. There are kennels on the yard for larger dogs who need to be kept on a lead. There are two stables for horses should you wish to bring them along on holiday with you.
As you enter Ashgrove you walk into a cosy open plan kitchen, diner and living room. This consists of comfy double sofa, dining table perfect for 2, TV and a kitchen with everything you need.
Continuing through the apartment you will find the shower room and bedroom with a double bed and views out into the village of Llawhaden.

Perfect bolt hole
My wife booked the accommodation as it was the cheapest in the area that looked suitable.
Google maps will take you to the door and what a gem of a place you will find. Tucked away up a flight of steps above a garage at the entrance to the farm yard is an exquisitely clean, simple flat for two. It has everything you need including a dishwasher, which we didn't use. There are four settings of plates, glasses cups etc. so we were able to entertain our friends who live nearby and had fed us the night before.
There is no bath, but it has a huge walk-in shower so no dodging around tiny doors to enter.
It is about a mile and a half from Narberth, so it is quiet. The farm it is located on is a dairy farm so there are cows and milking, a quad bike, tractors etc. However, they do not impact on the accommodation in the slightest.
It is immaculately clean so we thought we might be the first guests but it has been full all summer.
Complimentary eggs on arrival were a nice touch, also tea, coffee, salt, vinegar etc.
The host is one of the friendliest people we've met, absolutely lovely and a full time dairy farmer too, I don't know when these people rest.
All the chairs, sofa and bed are comfortable.
Definitely a place to return too, only a mile from the A40 so very handy for visiting all the local attractions of which there are too many to list.
Not wheelchair friendly but that is down to the location rather than an oversight.

At the roundabout take the third exit onto the B4314 then immediately left onto Landsker Borderlands Trail. Continue along this road into the village on Llawhaden. At the cross road turn right, Ashgrove farm is just down this road on the right.
