Cottage -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Glossa, Skopelos, Sporades
Clifftop Cottage is newly built in traditional Greek style, with open timber ceilings large balcony. The balcony to the west and sun terrace to the south look out over some of the most breath-taking views in the Aegean, and the property feels really secluded and yet is within 10 minutes walk of the village with its tavernas, restaurants and shops.

The cottage consists of sitting room, bedroom with double bed, large bathroom and separate very well equipped kitchen.

The living room is equipped with double pull-down sofa, satellite TV with a range of English-language film, sport and news channels, and integral DVD player. There is free wireless internet access in the cottage.

About the neighbourhood
Glossa is an unspoiled traditional Greek village with narrow streets made for donkeys rather than cars. It is the smaller of two towns in the island, the larger being Skopelos town, which is much more tourist - developed. Glossa is the ideal location for people who want to explore on foot and we keep picture guides and walking maps in all our properties to help you make the most of the island. Many people love to walk to the little secluded beaches on the north side of the island where the buses don't go, and so they are very peaceful.
Getting around
A bus service runs from Loutraki, (the port of Glossa) with Skopelos town, stopping at all the main beaches on the south coast of the island. The service is regular in the summer months, however a car is useful to explore the hidden coves, quiet hills and isolated monasteries of the island.

How to get there
Airport: Skiathos : 15.0 km
Ferry: Glossa : 2.0 km
Ferries from neighboring Skiathos island run regularly, especially during the summer, taking between 20 & 30 minutes to get to Loutraki/Glossa, depending on the ferry type. Skiathos has its own airport, with direct flights from Europe during the summer.
Out of season, the travel involves a longer ferry ride from the mainland, a great adventure for those who like to travel on their holiday! Spend an evening in Athens, Thessaloniki or Volos on your way.
