About the neighbourhood

Silversands is located on the beautiful south coast of Barbados. Silversands Beach is a large area of white powdery sand the waves in this area are great for surfing/paddleboarding, kitesurfing and windsurfing as to why it attracts the cool crowd. But it’s also a great beach to walk and relax on if your not into water sports. It has a lovely picnic area with picnic benches and a small play park for the children. The pretty Gazebo that is WI-FI enabled is a main feature in the park which also has toilet facilities. De Action surf shop is just a short stroll near the beach if your feeling adventurous and ready to surf those waves.

Getting around

A car is a great idea to explore the island but not a necessity. We have a bus stop directly outside the property that takes you into Oistins then onto st Lawrence gap and finally Bridgetown. The buses start early morning and finish around midnight.

How to get there

We are a 15 minute drive from the airport and a 7 minute drive to Oistins with its famous fish fry, shops, large supermarket, petrol station . And a 7 minute drive to Miami Beach . The lively St Lawrence gap is 15 minutes away with its restaurants, bars, open air cafes and shops. We are a 3 minute walk to Silver Sands beach which is great for surfing/Kite boarding and Windsurfing, but if your not into this its a lovely Beach for just relaxing and reading a book whilst catching the rays.
