I can't say enough about the absolutely stunning 180 degree of the water all the way to the horizon. I could stand at the porch rail for hours just stare out at the clear blue water. The water was nearly always calm and we often saw fish and turtles right from the porch.
The whole place was very clean and everything was in very good condition. For island based internet, this was more than fast enough for the whole family to surf the web in the evening or even stream a netflix movie after the sun went down. The pictures shown online are very accurate we really enjoyed our stay.
Let's take a moment to talk about the steps that lead down to the water. They are fairly steep and the jump from the last platform into the water was a lot of fun. But be aware, when we were there, there was a significant amount of shark activity. When we first got there, my wife took a video of my daughter and I jumping into the water. See the video on tiktok under user account nikkiped5. ( sorry, VRBO doesn't allow direct links in comments. ) You can see in the video she nearly jumped on the shark! We were not aware of the shark until later when we were reviewing the video. Standing on the top of the stairs you can see turtles, sting rays and one of the two sharks cruise by at least once in 10-15 minutes. The water was awesome and very frequently as calm as a swimming pool, and if it wasn't for the sharks, there was great snorkeling as well. If you're adventurous and don't mind swimming with wild sharks, this is awesome. Some people spend a lot of money to swim with sharks, and here they are included! For us, we stayed out of the water after our SECOND shark encounter, after foolishly thinking that the jump was just a one in a million chance thing. Nope, these sharks live there and cruise the cliff all day.
Enjoy!
