Antica casa colonica tipica Toscana completamente ristrutturata in stile, si sviluppa su due piani, è immersa nel verde dove pascolano i cavalli del nostro allevamento di cavalli sportivi (salto ostacoli, dressage, cross country) di nome "Allevamento Belvedere".
Nel giardino recintato è presente la piscina esclusiva.
Grande veranda con meravigliosa vista sulla valle del Mugello dove poter degustare i vini selezionati da somelier.

Fantastic!
We staid for one week and had a great time! We where 9 persons and had no problem at all since there is 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We just loved the BBQ-area where we made food and had some good local wine. There is lots of good wine in the house also that you can bye. The pictures are beautiful, but it's even more beautiful on site. The garden and the view over the valley is incredible! Only problem was that we only staid for one week :) 20 min drive to a great and big Coop where you can bye food. Also 20 min drive to the train station where you can take the train to Firenze. You need to have a car if you stay here, and I don´t recommend a sports car since the last bit of the road is a bit bumby.
Barbara, the owner is fantastic to.
We just loved it and hope that we can revisit Villa Poggiolo soon again!

Unser Haus auf dem Berg mit viel Ruhe und angenehmen Klima
Liebe Vermieter,
wir hatten zu zwei Familien mit insgesamt 4 Kindern eine traumhafte Zeit in diesem Haus auf dem Berg. Sehr gut hat uns der Pool, das tolle Verandazimmer mit dem Grill, die Tischtennishalle, das sehr angenehme Klima, die Einsamkeit auf dem Berg und das Flair des Hauses gefallen. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter war unkompliziert und reibungslos. Der Ausblick ins Tal war auch besonders schön. Die Fledermäuse, die Siebenschläfer, die Wildschweine und die Geccos die uns hin und wieder besuchten waren der Hit für die Kinder. Traumhaft war auch das Mugellotal, wo es nicht soviel Tourismus gibt wie im Chianti Gebiet. Toll ist auch die kurze Zugverbindung nach Florenz und unseren Besuch in Bologna habe ich auch in guter Erinnerung. Das einzige Preis für die Einsamkeit ist der etwas längere Anfahrtsweg den Berg hoch, der für uns gefühlt ein wenig zu lang war. Gerne denken wir an unseren Urlaub in ihrem Haus zurück.

Super relaxed holiday destination
We spent one week in Villa Poggolio. We are from the big city, so for us it was a perfect getaway from our busy lives at home. The beatiful scenery all around, truly gives you the feeling of oneness with nature. Furthermore this villa has a unprecendented historic value. Wifi was good, pool and table tenmis provided entertainment for the kids. If you want to relax and slow down, spent a week in this villa.
