Holiday Rental House
Sitting right on the edge of Portwrinkle Beach, The Rocket House is a converted fisherman's shed. The interior has high beamed ceilings and a single space kitchen, dining room, sitting room. There is a small garden with a picnic table and off-street parking. The main selling point is the view, overlooking the sea and the waves rolling in. The property is tastefully furnished and really lovely and cosy in winter, and amazingly handy in the summer....Sitting right on the edge of Portwrinkle Beach, The Rocket House is a converted fisherman's shed. About the neighbourhood
Set in the seaside village of Portwrinkle, situated on the Rame Peninsula, which is often referred to as Cornwall's Forgotten Corner. The rolling hills and dramatic seascape provide the perfect backdrop to a few days away. The property is set right on the edge of the Coastal Footpath, so perfect for hikers, in fact it passes the front door. There's a golf club 300m away, and two beaches one 20m away and the other about 200m. There are some great places to eat on the peninsula - The Carew Arms in Antony is wonderful, the Finnygook has good food and The View has seafood with a view.
Getting around
Public transport is really bad (about four buses a day) so a car is really advisable.
