Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam. Town: Lilliesleaf is a small village that sits in Roxburghshire in the Scottish Borders. There is an 11th century church in the village and Bronze Age settlements have been discovered alongside. Today, Lilliesleaf has a gallery cafe and two pubs and the towns of Ancrum and St Boswells are close by and provide the shops.More
