The house is set in half an acre of landscaped gardens in a lovely quiet location in the village of Fearnan once described as 'Heaven on Earth'. A Highland Village situated on a bay on the North shore of Loch Tay enjoying magical views across the Loch. Drummond Hill with its population of Capercaillie, Pine Martens, Red Squirrels etc lies to the east. Alligan is situated overlooking Loch Tay in the little hamlet of Fearnan, which lies between the small towns of Aberfeldy and Killin, The house is surrounded by stunning mountain views and lochside scenery. Not far is the conservation village of Fortingal, with its thatched cottages and hotel restaurant and bar. Fortingal is also the home of the oldest living yew tree in Europe!.

About five minutes East of Fearnan at the head of Loch Tay, you will find the lovely 16th century conservation village of Kenmore, which boasts an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shops. How to get there
For Sat Nav experts the Post Code of Alligan is PH15 2 PG.

From the South, assuming your are taking say the M90 north to Perth, then continue on the A 9 north to Ballinluig. At Ballinluig take a left on to the A827 signposted Aberfeldy which you will reach in about 20 minutes. Continue through Aberfeldy to Kenmore which is about six miles. Continue through Kenmore and a few minutes later you will reach the village of Fearnan (look for the 40mph sign). Continue on the main road for about three quarters of a mile and at the far end of the village where you will see some new houses overlooking the Loch, take a right at the signpost (Big hedge on your right) to Fortingall.
