Holiday Rental House
Nestling amongst vineyards in the foothills of the Cevenne mountains the sleepy hamlet of Le Barry is a five minute walk from the centre of Montpeyroux. Le Barry is a no through road leading only to the ruined castle which dominates the village. La Ruine is a restored three-storey 17th century village house, which housed a winemaker's family for generations. The house is particularly light and spacious and careful attention has been paid to guests comfort and well being. The house has been restored to a high standard incorporating many original features including exposed stone walls, original fireplace and beams. The house is well situated for exploring the region. There are well signed walks and bike trails from the village making this an ideal year round holiday location.
