Beachside Chalet No1 is approached from a residential road, offering a safe and peaceful environment. The quiet village of Gurnard sits west along the coast from the bustling internationally renown yachting town of Cowes.

HISTORY - The chalet is one of a row built in the 1930s on the waterfront for holiday use. They have been slowly modernised over the decades with some still very much as they were when originally built giving the area a feel reminiscent of times gone by. The charm of this unique little area of the Island owes a lot to the planning restrictions keeping redevelopment of these chalets to a strict character code of single storey, pastel coloured shiplap cladding, pitched roofs, porches and low picket fencing. Quiet picturesque setting with fantastic views over The Solent. Beautifully decorated with everything you need so cleverly designed to fit into the space, very cosy. The area is quiet and unspoilt with nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance. We wish we could have stayed...More

Damage deposit is £150.00.
Deposit returned by BACS within 14 days of booking end.
The rental fee has been lowered to exclude electricity. The electricity you use, gauged by readings taken prior to, and straight after your booking, will be deducted from your damage deposit, at cost only.

LATE DEPARTURES will be charged at £20 for each incomplete hour from 11.00am. This is to encourage prompt departures as we have a heavy schedule of changeovers.
CHANGEOVER FEE - The changeover fee of £40 covers cleaning of the chalet, linen and towels, and top up of consumables such as soaps, toilet paper and kitchen towel and washing up sponge. We also ask for a £15 Electric Use Deposit which is added to the Changeover Fee, making a total of £55 requested. You will be refunded the electric fee of £15, minus your electric usage, within 14 days of the end of your booking.
