Getting around
The house is 3 miles from the village of Aberdovey to the west, 7 miles from Machynlleth to the East. The entrance drive to the house is on this road.
By rail, take a taxi from Machynllech station (regular direct service from Birmingham), or take the train into Penhellig station (at the start of Aberdovey) or Aberdovey station and take a taxi.
There is a regular bus service from Machylleth to Aberdovey, and the bus will stop at the house on request, from either direction.
The Welsh Coastal Path is on the hill behind the house, and it takes around 30 minutes to walk up to the path. From here, Aberdovey is a 1.5 hour walk.

DIRECTIONS from A493 ( Road between Machynlleth & Aberdovey )

From Machynlleth, follow the A493 through Pennal and Cwrt for approximately 7 miles. The estuary will have started to open up on your left. You will reach a very sharp right hand bend with black and white chevrons. The road then bends to the left, with a white timber cottage on the right and a boatyard on the left. Proceed (slowly) up the road as the entrance is hidden in a dip in the road until you see Aberdovey Lodge Park on your right. There is a telegraph pole on your right just before the turn-off and a sign saying “Aberdovey Lodge Park”. Turn right as if going to the Lodge Park and then immediately left into the driveway of Panteidal Farmhouse.
