The cottage is set beneath the Gargunnock Hills, just a mile from the village of Gargunnock. The real gift of this property is its view of the village and hills beyond.

The house itself has 4 bedrooms, a large living room with gas log effect fire, flat screen tv and views to Ben Lomond and the Trossachs from its bay window leads onto a modern conservatory. Downstairs there is a family bathroom, kitchen, 2 of the main bedrooms, dining room and kitchen with breakfast room.

Upstairs are two further bedrooms including a very large master bedroom with built in wardrobes, and a separate shower room/wc.

The property has oil central heating, a large, very child friendly garden with sandpit and swingset. There is a decked and patio area and built-in barbeque for outside dining.

Parking available for 4/5 cars.

Had a great stay at Applegarth. Was perfect for our family weekend get together. The garden is lovely and we had sun all weekend so spent a lot of time there. House is nice and spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful garden - lots of space for the children to run around and our dog was in heaven. The children also enjoyed the swing, the sand pit, and the many toys. The beds were comfortable and the conservatory was a great place to sit and...More

As some of our group were taking part in the Evans bike run at Aberfeldy we decided as a group to make a weekend of it. We found Applegarth fitted our needs as there were 8 adults, 2 children and a dog. The house itself...More

About the neighbourhood
Applegarth is placed just off the main A811 which links Stirling to Loch Lomond and the Trossach mountains. The property is just a 10 minute walk (or 2 min drive) from the village of Gargunnock, where there is a fully stocked licensed shop, a pub with dining and the local Church of Scotland.

Locally, there are other small villages of Kippen, Thornhill and Doune, all of which have excellent pub dining establishments.

Stirling city is only 10 minutes away - with a direct route from the house in to the centre of the city. You literally have only one road to follow!

From the property you can enjoy stunning views of the village and the Gargunnock Hills beyond. From every window in the house, there is a view of the hills, woodland, the Trossach mountains or the Gargunnock Hills.

Easy access from Glasgow aiprort - take the M8 toward Edinburgh - exit M80 toward Stirling - exit M9 toward Perth, exit junction 10 (45 min total journey)

Stirling Train Station, - taxi to the property is 10 mins and during daytime hours costs approx £12-£14.

Access from the South - M6 onto M74 at Glasgow. M74 onto M80 and then finally M9 exiting at Junction 10
