Sudbury is ideal for families, for a holiday, or a short break. The spacious detached 1920s bungalow is in a prime residential position near the main Sandown seafront and shops, centrally located yet quiet. The roomy accommodation sleeps up to 5 adults and 2 children/teenagers plus space for travel cots. Bedroom 1 has a double bed; bedroom 2 has twin single beds; bedroom 3 has one single bed; bedroom 4 has a set of sturdy bunk beds (for children or teenagers).

There is ample space to relax in the lounge, the dining room seats 8, and the long sunny garden is a safe place to play. The kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and lots of equipment. You can cook up a storm at home, get a take-away, or eat out with shops bars & restaurants just around the corner.

Guests are met at the property by their local contact when they first arrive, to answer any queries, hand over the keys, and explain the local recycling collections. There is information in the Bungalow recommending places to visit and things to do, and a selection of games/books/CDs for Guests (young and old) to use. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the property, and no pets are allowed inside the property or on site.

Sandown is one of the most popular family resorts on the island, with its blue flag gold award wide sandy beaches, and tourist attractions. Along the Esplanade are an award winning Dinosaur Museum; a Zoo featured on ITV Tiger Island; a pitch and putt golf course; pleasure gardens with bowls, swings, crazy golf, go-karts, bumpy slide; a pier; water sports. In town are many shops, bars and restaurants and the Leisure Centre has a gym and swimming pool. Horse riding is nearby. Sudbury is 250 metres/2 minutes walk from the main beach and High Street, 8 minutes walk from the train station, 1 minute walk from bus stops to the rest of the Island.

Ferry: Ryde: 12.0 km
Three Car Ferries run to the Island. Wightlink runs two routes - Portsmouth to Ryde or Lymington to Yarmouth. Red Funnel runs one route from Southampton to Cowes. The Car Ferries take foot passengers and there are a further 2 passenger only routes, Wightlink from Portsmouth to Ryde and a Hydrofoil service from Southampton to Cowes.

Ryde is the nearest port to Sandown, linked by road, train and bus. Yarmouth and Cowes are linked to Sandown by road and bus. Sudbury bungalow is an 8 minute walk from Sandown station and 1 minute from buses.

Sandown airport has a direct link with London City Airport.
