Beautiful family house and garden with ample off road parking on the drive. It is exceptionally well furnished, warm and cosy, unbelievably clean and well decorated/maintained with everything you need for self catering generously provided. No expense spared or corners cut! It is without doubt one of the best places we have ever rented and we could see why there are such ‘rave’ reviews and so many repeat visits.

Another fabulous stay! This is our third visit and the house just gets better! A stunning house in a great location and the most amazing garden which includes child’s playhouse and one for the grown ups too! Amanda, the host thinks of everything! Amanda really made our Christmas! The house was beautiful, everything was clean and the house was so well equipped for a large family. There were so many lovely little touches throughout the house and she had even decorated for us which made it feel like a home from home. The kitchen has a lovely big table for family meals, perfect for Christmas. We seated 8 but it would manage 10. There wasn't a dishwasher but with so many helping hands we managed fine. The coffee machine was a real treat for us. We didn't use the fire but it looked lovely. We'd happily stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Amanda was a great host. Great communication before our stay and Amanda met us when we arrived. House was spotless and kitchen was stocked with loads of little store cupboard extras and a nice large fridge. Plenty of towels which my wife really appreciated. Downstairs bedroom was perfect for my parents who are in their 70’s. Only 15 min walk to the beach front. Kids also loved the garden room.

We had an amazing holiday at Hill Crest. The property is amazing to be able to sit in the garden was so relaxing . At breakfast time it was so good seeing the birds coming in for a feast. The weather was so kind to us. A very memorable stay. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing! We loved our stay- the house is immaculate and full of character. Perfect for our family holiday! Amanda was lovely and helpful. 100% We would return in the future!

We stayed in Hillcrest as a family of 9 people including a baby for a week. There was a cot available in a large downstairs bedroom which was great. The house was very clean and the furniture and other equipment is excellent. The back garden is very nice and has several spots to sit outside. The two showers and 1 bath were good and comfortable. The entrance to the front garden is a bit small, but there is sufficient parking for 3-4 cars. There are 2 steep steps to enter the house at the front but there is the option to use the back door instead which also has a step but not as steep. For most larger shops (Asda, Sainsbury) you will have to drive. The beach is not too far away within walking distance. However if you go by foot you will need to take the hill into account as the house is up hill on the return. The hill is rather steep in the middle, so might not suit all people. The area is nice and there are plenty of activities to do in Paignton and Torquay. The beach at Goodrington would possibly be the nicest one for parents and children. Paignton Zoo is not too far away as well. Just watch out for the seagulls!!!

Another fabulous week staying at Hill Crest! Our family love this house! It has everything you need and the perfect location to explore surrounding Devon. Yet again the weather was absolutely stunning and we had a lovely week!
