Ash Tree Cottage is a pretty stone cottage in the heart of the Blavet valley set in the countryside in a very peaceful setting. It is very well equipped and has a wood burning stove and a comfortable living area. There is a private garden area with BBQ and garden furniture.Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We are 30 mins from the coast. Ideally situated for exploring Southern Brittany.
Both Ash Tree and Sweet Chestnut Cottage can be booked together for a party of up to 8 people.

Dear Michael, thank you very much for your comments. We are very glad that Stephanie, Tom and yourself enjoyed your stay in Ash Tree Cottage. We will leave some more adapters for the English sockets for our European guests as I expect one wasn't enough! You are most welcome to visit us on another occasion hopefully when the weather is a bit sunnier!

We had a fantastic week here in August. It is a beautiful cottage ideal for a family of 4. It was such a picturesque area that was very peaceful.
The cottage has use of a shared pool between 3 properties all owned by the owner, the pool was fantastic and our girls loved it.
Locally there is a beautiful river when you can hire canoes and push bikes which is stunning and very reasonable.
The owners are very relaxed and friendly, they gave us lots of advice on the local area before we left the UK.

Beautiful, tranquil cottage with pool in gorgeous location
Ash Tree cottage was in a beautiful, tranquil location within 40mins of beaches, lakes, castles and rivers. The perfect place from which to explore Brittany and we felt like there was plenty more still to see. The scenery was stunning. We had all we needed in the cottage and the owners were really helpful and welcoming both before and during the trip. There was plenty to do for our 5 and 7 year old and they loved the pools, table football and large grounds. Our first family holiday in France and one which we would very much hope to do again and would highly recommend! Thank you Marcus and Helen!

Fantanstic gite and great location
Peaceful and beautiful location , great for families as it has easy access to lots of tourists locations . Well maintained and comfortable facilities especially the swimming pool . The owners Una and Tony are welcoming and wonderful hosts . We highly recommend the gite and without doubt would go back again .

Talhouet Kerquere is situated in the heart of the Blavet valley and within a few minutes drive is the restored Breton village of Poul Fetan where you can experience a taste of Brittany as it was a couple of centuries ago. There is also canoe/kayak, cycle hire nearby on the Blavet and a guided trip on a barge to explore the river. There is a towpath along the canalised river which is ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and wildlife - spot the Kingfishers.
