The Old Station's Masters House is a stunning 19th century building in the historic town of Fowey. Number 2 apartment makes for a comfortable and contemporary home away from home. Fully refurbished and decorated for 2023, we have made the most of the light and airy open plan living space. Downstairs, we have two modern bedrooms, each with a bathroom and access to the rear courtyard. As such, the apartment is unsuitable for children under 8 years old. ************************************************************************************** Number 2 The Old Station Master's House Location. We are located on Station Road, just along from Caffa Mill. This is a great spot for anyone wanting to launch kayaks or boats! Around Caffa Mill are a selection of shops and cafes, and the very centre of Fowey is less than a ten minute walk along the river. We have private parking for one car, and Caffa Mill also has a public car park run by Cornwall Council. Apartment Layout. We have a private parking space to the front of the house. From here, head down the steps and onto the first of our two outside spaces with dining furniture, perfect for morning coffee. The front door opens into a large hallway with plenty of space. On the left is the en-suite master bedroom, to the right is the twin bedroom and family bathroom, and in the centre is the staircase leading to the living space. The master bedroom has been tastefully decorated with a luxurious king size bed and large glass doors leading to the rear patio, which gives the bedroom lots of natural light. There is also an en-suite with a shower. The twin room is a fun and pretty bedroom with two single wrought iron style beds. There is also a large glass door leading to the courtyard. Next to the bedroom is the family bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs is the open plan living space, with high ceilings and large windows, making a light and bright space to relax or entertain. The neat and functional kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to cook, and the dining space seats 4 to eat together inside. If you prefer eating alfresco, you can head outside to the spacious private rear patio and make the most of the outside dining furniture! We also have a secure utility room leading off from the courtyard, a great safe space for any bikes you may have. There is also access to a communal garden area that is shared with the rest of Old Station Master's House. Guests have full and private use to all areas of Apartment 2, including the front and rear patios, and a private entrance. There is also parking for one car. Great base for holiday
No 2 Old Station Masters House is a great base for exploring the River Fowey area, it is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. It is a short walk into Fowey town centre where the cafes and shops are located or carry on further to Readymoney Cove. Just a few steps away the Bodinnick Ferry crosses the Fowey to the opposite bank where you can start the Hall Walk. Great apartment, comfortable and well appointed, amazing rainfall shower.
