Lantic was recently completely renovated including a loft conversion that offers a bedroom with fabulous views over the harbour. There is a new bay window on the 1st floor, new central heating, a new larger kitchen and a newly fitted bathroom. We have then used the blank canvas this gave us to furnish the house, with the emphasis being on quality and comfort to make your stay as relaxing as possible while you enjoy all that Fowey has to offer.

Fabulous
We loved staying here. It had everything we needed and more, great views from top bedroom, perfect location for accessing restaurants, shops etc. Very nicely decorated, beds super comfy. Lovely space to spend time in and cook on a night in. Would highly recommend and definitely return. The pictures do not do it justice. Thank you for having us.

Fab Family Holiday Rental
We finally visited Lantic after a year long delay due to Covid (the owners Leonie and Ollie couldn’t have been more helpful / flexible over this - offering us alternative dates when it became clear that it just wasn’t going to happen last year!). Happy to say it was worth the wait! Lantic was perfectly situated in the charming town of Fowey and the owners gave us many helpful recommendations and tips over email which we really appreciated (particularly the small details such as the local parking permits which are available at a weekly rate for the council car parks - something which saved a lot of hassle but we’d never have known about otherwise). The accommodation itself was lovely and ideal for our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) as there was plenty of space and everything had been thought about. The kitchen was really well equipped with things which you don’t always find in holiday rentals and the welcome bottle of wine from the owners was a particularly lovely gesture! Fowey also made a good base for exploring the surrounding area - the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan were an easy drive away, as was Bodmin Jail which we visited on the one rainy day we were there. Adrenalin quarry was the holiday highlight for our teenage children and there were many beautiful walks and beaches and lots of great places to eat. Would highly recommend - the owners make a huge effort to ensure that their bookings are smooth, easy and enjoyable - all the key ingredients for an enjoyable break, especially during difficult times. Hope to be back again at some point in the future!

Great base for walking, activities and surrounding area
The location is great, easy access to the harbour and town. Great base for walking, activities, and sight seeing. The house is well set up with plenty of space, three large double bedrooms with a large open living space on the ground floor. It was very clean. Plenty of lovely restaurants and pubs in the town but in the current situation recommend you eat early or book.

Fantastic accomodation
What a beautiful house to stay in! Very clean, spacious, washing machine/dryer and dish washer. Just perfect! Situated in Fowey which is a wonderful place to stay.

Superb cottage
Wonderful comfortable cottage in a great location. Everything you need has been provided and was spotlessly clean. Leonie and Oliver communicated all the details and were great to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Lantic Fowey
We enjoyed a lovely week in this warm and comfortable holiday home. Communication was prompt and detailed. We found the accommodation to be spacious and tastefully decorated with good views from the front windows. Everything catered for and would definitely recommend. Thankyou leonie and Ollie

Fabulous
Fantastic property, great location, great communication from Leonie the owner before our stay. The house is a great size and has everything you need, beds are comfortable and everything was spotless. Lovely touch to have a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Location for a family holiday
Right in the middle of Fowey and within easy walking distance of all you need, even with a pregnant wife and a three-year old toddler. There is no parking but all the directions and advice we were provided with about where to leave the car worked out really well. The house itself was laid out well with a large communal living area and the bedrooms were all a good size and neat and tidy.

Wunderbar!
Super tolle Unterkunft, perfekte Lage und top ausgestattet. Ideal für Urlaub mit Kindern, Shops, Cafés und Strand im Fußnähe. Es gibt ein Baby bett, Spielsachen und genügend Platz für alle. Es war alles überaus ästhetisch und durchdacht, der Kontakt zu Leonie und Ollie sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das parken nervt, aber das ist auch schaffbar. Von den beiden gab es Tipps wo man umsonst parken kann und fürs entladen gibt es eine kleine Bucht. Ansonsten: Fowey, wunderschön, freundlich, lecker und leider sehr voll. Die Autos vermiesen das entspannte durch die Sträßchen schlendern. Aber sonst, wenn Fowey dann unbedingt Lantic. Thanks Ollie and Leonie for the bottle of wine, we appreciated that very much after arriving so much later than expected because of flight delays and other problems. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your very very nice house. We enjoyed our time so much! And the kids fell in love with the teddy bear in the book, for them it was even harder to leave....
