Whitecaps is a 3 bedroom detached house in a 1930's private estate. The house is only a 2 minute walk from the sea and 5 minutes from the Hayling Island Sailing Club and marina. With a roof terrace with stunning views across Chichester Harbour and the Solent, this is an idyllic holiday home. The rear garden backs on to a nature reserve with rare breed cattle, deer and many different birds from woodpeckers to kestrels spotted at the bottom of the garden. A tennis court, green and children's swings add to the perfect setting.

A large master bedroom, a twin room and a bunk-bed / twin room provides plenty of accommodation - there is also a travel cot and high chair available on request. Changeover days on Saturdays. PRICES ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE - bed linen and towels provided; basics such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid & cloths, dishwasher tablets. property professionally cleaned before & after your stay. Travel cot , high chair and stair gates are available free of charge upon request. Last minute bookings possible. Short stays possible, but a minimum charge of £265 applies. Pets allowed by prior agreement only - small charge may be made to cover extra cleaning charges. Discounts: If two weeks are booked, the second week will be discounted by 10% - extra discount may be applied for even longer bookings. Early bird discount of 5% given to any booking of a week or more made 6 months or more in advance (which can be added to the 10% second week discount if 2 weeks booked early - giving a 15% saving).

Nearest train station Havant (8 miles) or Emsworth (9 miles). From Havant station travellers can either take a taxi or hop on a bus from the nearby bus station. Trains from London Waterloo, London Victoria & London Bridge to Havant take between 1 hr 20 mins - 1 hr 45 mins.

1 hour 30 mins minutes from Gatwick or Heathrow airports and 45 minutes from Southampton airport by car. By train, Gatwick 1 hr 10 mins mins, Heathrow 1hr 45 mins, Southampton 1 hour.

Ferries and FastCat services to mainland Europe from Portsmouth (20 minutes away) and Southampton (45 minutes away).
