Woodpecker lodge is one of two purpose built holiday lodges located in the rural Suffolk village of Coddenham. Ideally situated 150 metres away from the main road in 4 acres of private land. Guests have the benefit of off road parking with a paved access to a ramped entrance which is ideal for anyone with walking difficulties. For guests wanting a bit more activity the village has its own bowling green, tennis courts within easy walking distance plus on the doorstep we have the village walks.


Please note . the lodges are suitable for two adults sharing but a child may be included with the use of a single fold up/ down bed. If unsure please email for details.

Woodpecker is a pleasant and peaceful little cottage with very good facilities. The furnishings and style are very good indeed. The only thing we would have liked to have had in our six day stay was the use of a washing machine but other than...More

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The accommodation is great for two people - surprisingly spacious with almost everything we needed - a simple welcome pack enough to make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee on arrival and some soap in the bathroom...More

Needham Market offers medical facilities and numerous shops and takeaways as well as the Lake where you can enjoy a leisurely walk or feed the ducks. The magnificent Helmingham Hall is just 5 miles away with its stunning gardens, deer park and stable tea rooms. The ancient market town of Framlingham with its historic Castle and views across the mere is just a 20 minute drive.
