The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a table with seating for 4. There are 5 bedrooms, one on the ground floor, a shower room and a bathroom. The ground floor bedroom and shower room are useful for less able visitors. A well behaved dog is welcome. The cottage has a very convenient location. From the front door it is only about 2 minutes to the shops and the promenade which runs right around Swansea Bay, from the back door it is only a short walk to more shops and the 12th Century Oystermouth Castle. Mumbles itself makes a good base for a holiday with lots of small shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. Tennis, crazy golf, bowls, cycling and water sports are available in the village. There are several parks, two with children's play areas and lovely sandy beaches are within easy reach. Bracelet and Rotherslade beaches are in walking distance and from there the cliff path takes you to Langland and Caswell bays. Further afield, the Gower, Britain's first area of outstanding beauty, is easily accessible by car or bus. The area is ideal for families or groups of friends.More
