The house had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend, it was very clean and well equipped. Bridget was very helpful while I was booking and non intrusive while we were there (she lives around the corner). Would recommend.

Stayed here with 3 friends for a Uni reunion. Lovely house, close to everything but tucked out of the way too. Would have liked longer to explore the area a bit more. Pleasant host, very easy to deal with. Can recommend.

About the neighbourhood
There's plenty for outdoor lovers, with walks through Mumbles Hill nature reserve or along the coastal path (it runs the whole way round Wales) virtually on your doorstep. Close to home are beautiful sandy beaches at Langland and Caswell - both great for surfing as well as safe swimming. A short drive and you'll be exploring the lovely Gower peninsula, Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with award winning beaches like Three Cliffs and Rhossili, and miles of wonderful walking, cycling or horse-riding. The city of Swansea is just 20 minutes away, for a bigger range of shops and restaurants, plus cinemas, theatre, museums and galleries. The Leisure Centre (LC2 with Spa), Vue & Odeon cinemas are great for wet days.
Getting around
Bluebell Cottage is 8 miles from Junction 47 on the M4. The nearest railway station is Swansea (3 hours direct to London), a 20 minute taxi ride away. Regular bus services run to Swansea and connect to the network of buses which cover Gower and the surrounding countryside. There is a traffic free cycle route along the seafront links Mumbles with Swansea and with the Sustrans National Cycle Route 4.
