Located in a late 18th century building on the Kurrentgasse, a picturesque street a few steps from Judenplatz, arguably the nicest area of the historic centre, a UNESCO world heritage landmark. The whole area is pedestrian, including the Kurrentgasse, full with the nicest cafés and restaurants in Vienna. Four of us stayed 6 nights in the apartment and couldn’t have picked better accommodation. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had superb amenities. All of Vienna’s city highlights were mostly within walking distance. It all helped to make our stay thoroughly memorable.

Thanks for the useful review! It is forbidden to hang A/C units on historic building like ours and almost all buildings in the center, that's why you'll find so few air conditioned units in Vienna.

About the neighbourhood
The location is an experience in itself. The feeling of living in this part of town, I think the oldest of Vienna (end of 18th century), is really unique, there is a unique charm to these labyrinthine streets with traditional shops, restaurants and cafes. No cars. St-Stephens cathedral is 200m away from the flat (about 3 minutes by foot) as is the underground station for the rare times you'll actually have to take transportation (for instance the day you go to the Schönbrunn palace which is out of town). Most sites of interest are within easy walking distance to the flat (1 to 10 minutes). Depending on how you arrive to Vienna, I'll be glad to give you all details as how to reach the apartment (it is very easy and fast).
