Just 2 minutes walk and you can find shops, cafes, restaurants, and much more. This property is part of one of the oldest houses in Sliema. It's walls have been stripped down exposing the typical Maltese limestone and it has some unusual features. Every care has been taken to make it as comfortable and welcoming as possible. There are 3 bedrooms - 2 twin and 1 double with en suite shower and a double sofa bed in the living room. A seperate bathroom with shower. There is also FREE WI-FI internet. A rocky beach is available within walking distance. The nearest sandy beach would be St Julians and that's 2 km away. The nearest bus stop is 2 min. walk. One of the advantages of a small island is that very little time is spent travelling. How to get there Sliema is 9 km away from the airport. The X2 bus will bring you straight Sliema from the airport and the bus stop is just 2 min. away. Some info about buses that pass through Sliema - The 202 and 203 will take you to Mdina and Rabat. The 222 runs all the way to the ferry port for Gozo. Further Details Sliema and especially the ferries area is packed with restaurants for all budgets, shops and cafes. In the vicinity there are small shops for everyday needs as well as 2 large supermarkets within walking distance. And luckily, two blocks away you can find a traditional local baker from where you can buy freshly baked Maltese bread or ftira.
