Villa Sophia, in the quiet urbanisation of Las Adelfas, has been extensively renovated and extended by the current owners to create a luxurious second home. The villa’s private pool and extensive outdoor areas for the warmer months together with central heating and a log fire when the weather is cooler make this an ideal holiday destination at any time of the year.

The property has secure, private gardens with sea views and a private pool. In addition, there are several outside terraces (with outside lighting) which are ideal for chilling, relaxing and eating.

Beautiful and superbly equipped villa with amazing pool. Excellent peaceful location just a 10 minute stroll to supermarket and the centre of Mijas and 5 minute stroll to beach. Stayed here with my sister and her family and this is undoubtably one of the best...More

The first floor master bedroom has a king bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a fitted mirror, fitted wardrobes with hanging/shelf space, air conditioning, central heating, sea views and an en suite bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in shower. Sliding doors from the bedroom lead to a terrace overlooking the pool and the sea.

Three further bedrooms are located on the ground floor:
Bedroom 1 has sea views, a double bed, bedside cabinets, air conditioning, central heating, fitted wardrobes with hanging and shelf space, an en suite bathroom with bath and a separate walk-in shower and sliding doors from the bedroom which lead to the pool and terrace.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, air conditioning, central heating, bedside tables and fitted wardrobes with hanging/shelf space.

La Cala, a former fishing village, is the perfect base for a holiday as it has all of the advantages of a town (bars, restaurants, supermarket) but is small enough to give holidaymakers the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. La Cala is well located for the many activities on offer. The area is known as Golf Valley because of its abundance of golf courses. El Chaparral, La Cala Golf, Miraflores, Mijas Golf and Cabopino are all within minutes of the villa.

Other activities include evening horse racing at the Hipodromo, horse riding, Tivoli World at Benalmadena, watersports, Tennis Club del Sol, dolphin spotting boat trips from Fuengirola etc.
