It was exactly what i was expecting : nice and cosy !!! Hosts were very welcome and the apartment was very nicely decorated and spacious ! Well located as well !

Stories & Homes Fontainhas is an apartment set right in the centre of an Porto´s traditional neighbourhood. It can accommodate from 2 to 5 people. The flat has been carefully decorated combining traditional and antique objects with modern and comfortable furnishings. Our main aim is to create a 'home away from home' experience for our guests but, at the same time, we want them to fell closer to the Portuguese Culture. Every object has a story to tell about Portugal and its traditions.
The apartment has:

We are located at Oporto´s city centre, still inside the UNESCO heritage site, therefore in a walking distance, you will find excellent restaurants, cafés, shops, shopping centre, supermarkets and several hotels. We are located next to the art school, therefore it is a quite artist and authentic neighbourhood.
Getting around
The Porto International Airport is 11 km away from Stories & Homes Firmeza, therefore only 20-minute driving distance or you may take the metro to/from 24 Agosto Station, located 11-minute walk away. Due to the short distance to the old city centre, usually we suggest you to plan your visit on foot, as you are close to the various tourist attractions. * 10 min : Sé (Porto´s Cathedral) * 10 min : Fernandina Wall * 10 min: Avenida dos Aliados (the main boulevard lined with grand buildings and a central promenade) * 10 min : São Bento Station * 5 min: Coliseu Porto * 15min: Clérigos Church (the paradigmatic architectural landmarks of Porto) You can also move through the public transportations: - 750 m from 24 Agosto metro station
