Perfectly located near all conveniences, this apartment felt wonderful from the first day. The flat is very clean and pleasant, well equipped, the bed is very comfortable, and you'll be able to get groceries right across the street. You'll be close to major shops, malls, restaurants, museums, public transportation as well. To top it all, Ana is the nicest and friendliest host we've ever met, always ready to assist us right away. We will definitely return here next time we are in Lisboa. Obrigada, Ana!

Comfortable and quiet
Convenient to public transport, supermarket across the road, reliable lifts, and a light and sunny apartment made our Lisbon stay most enjoyable. Ana met and welcomed us even though our flight had been delayed!

Great location
We spent 2 exciting weeks in Lisbon at this “Exciting Lisbon” 5th floor-apartment unit. I try to summarize below the pros & cons of our stay at this apartment:
Pros:
The location of the apartment made it very practical for our needs; we were taking a 2-week Portuguese course at CIAL language school and it took us less than 15 minutes to walk there. Metro station was also on the way when we wanted to go out in the evening. There were several cafes, restaurants in the walking distance and a grocery store called “Pingo Doce” was right across the street from our apartment building. There were two parks we could walk/jog in the morning or evening.
Although the unit was in a busy residential area, nights were very quiet and we could sleep peacefully. During the day there were some noise related to construction/wall cleaning, but we spent very little time (just lunch) in the apartment during the day.
The apartment was very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The bed was sturdy & comfortable.The kitchenette was well-equipped and there were all necessary household amenities such as fridge with a small freezer, washing machine with a dryer, TV with VCR, dishwasher, a fan, hair dryer, an iron & ironing board, and cleaning tools & material.
Wi-Fi was free and fast.
The owner Ana and her dad were very friendly and helpful.
Cons:
All not-so-good points of the apartment were related to its small size and its necessity to spare space;The bathroom, especially the shower, was very small and an average-size adult could hardly turn around inside without banging on to the shower doors or shower pole.
The kitchen cupboards were too high even for a very tall person. A small foot-bench indeed was available, but a step-ladder would have been more useful when reaching higher cupboards, especially because the bar stools did not seem to give enough stability.
There was very little space to hang clothes, especially for 2 people for two weeks. Although there was a stand for drying clothes in the back, it was more suited for hanging wet towels.
All in all, this little apartment served our purpose for two weeks. We will come back here when we visit Lisbon again.
