Casa Gomes nos ha encantado, situado en un enclave maravilloso de la sierra de Sintra con vistas al mar y a la montaña. Cerca de Sintra, de la playa y con todas las comodidades. Y lo mejor es Odete y su familia, atentos a cualquier necesidad. Se nos han hecho muy cortos estos 15 dÃas allÃ. Volveremos sin duda.

conveniently located to see Sintra's palaces
Spacious apartment. There was no kettle but it was great to use the induction hob like at home, Lots of storage space in both bedrooms but the bed in the smaller one was much shorter therefore uncomfortable.
If you drive be prepared to encounter very narrow roads with lots of bends and where only one car would fit but the traffic is both ways.Similarly the driveway was a difficult one to get in, advisable only for experienced drivers and good at reversing.
The communication with the owner was very good however his family looks after the property and they don't speak a word of English so no direct communication was possible.
There is also no WIFi therefore use one in a cafe in Sintra center.
No shops and restaurants nearby; one needs to drive to Portela de Sintra or Sintra center getting stuck in traffic as there are lots of one way roads and too many cars. Best to get all your supplies so no need to do shopping.

UNA ESTANCIA ESTUPENDA
La ubicación muy buena, esta en un sitio muy tranquilo y en un entorno con mucho encanto. Cerca de Sintra, del mar y de Lisboa. La casa muy limpia con todo lo necesario para poder cocinar y para hacer la estancia muy cómoda. Maria y su marido son unas persona muy amables y han sido muy atentos con nosotros. La recomiendo al cien por cien.
