Lagoa is centrally located making all your day trips possible in very reasonable distances. Lagoa itself offers a pretty picturesque harbor, squares, gardens, small museums, restaurants and bars, a supermarket and many small neighborhood stores, pharmacies etc. Though São Miguel has public transportation, a car rental is highly recommended to get the most out of your vacation experience.
