About the neighbourhood
The Blue Tulip Amsterdam is your start of a great Amsterdam experience. Located in the city centre, yet very quiet. With one foot in the historical canal area and the other in the museum quarter. From our studio you can explore the whole heart of the city by walking. But you can also take the tram. Tram stops to all directions of the city are very close to the studio.
How to get there
From Schiphol Airport Easy and definitely the cheapest way to get to the Blue Tulip from Schiphol Airport is with the bus. Bus company Connexxion offers at least every 15 minutes a direct service (bus line 197) to and from the center of Amsterdam. The ride takes half an hour, tickets cost 5 euro. You get off at bus stop Rijksmuseum. From there it's only a five minute walk to our lodge, using the underpass of the Rijksmuseum. For the walking route, check this link: http://goo.gl/maps/m579Z. With a taxi it takes about a 20 minute drive to our lodge. The fare with a regular taxi is about 45 euro. From Central Station If you arrive with the train at Central Station, the tram is a good option to get to the Blue Tulip Amsterdam. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You can use the tram lines 16 ...
