The apartment is located in our beautifully renovated old building on the first floor. It has wood floors and stucca ceilings and is tastefully equipped. It has 3 rooms with each 2 beds. In the living room, there is also a space with a sofa, a chair and a dining table. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 flame stove, refrigerator, coffee machine and water boiler. The private toilet is located 2 meters from the apartment door, on the same floor. The shower is in the same room like the kitchenette. All rooms are to be used alone. The apartment is an ideal accommodation for families, pairs traveling together or small groups. It is near the center and still very quietly located. About the neighbourhood
The Guesthouse Basel is located in a quiet, yet central residential area. In 200 meters away is a transport hub, from where lead direct tram lines to the main station or to the Inner City. Also located in the next area is food store, a bank, a Psot, a pharmacy and further little stores.
Getting around
Basel is a beautiful city at the border of Swiss, Germany and Franc. The people of Basel are very interesting in culture. There are many culture events, museum and anther possibility, to make your stay at this beautiful city wonderfull.
From our house, you will reach the inner city in a 6 minutes ride with the public transport. Or you may take a 10 minutes walk up to the river Rhein.
There are also some beautiful parks for relax or playing with the children in Basel. One of them, the biggest one, is in a distance of a 5 minutes walk from our house.
