This apartment is located in the 2nd floor (46 steps) of the 14th century Palazzo Accarigi; once home to a noble Sienese family. There is no elevator in the building. The apartment is in a restricted traffic zone and therefore cannot be reached by car. However, taxis are permitted and taking a taxi to the palazzo is recommended. <b>Second Floor:</b> (46 steps) This historic apartment was carefully restored in 2014 with high quality materials, antique furnishings and fixtures throughout, and original paintings and frescos. Meticulous attention to detail was used to ensure historic accuracy. There is an open living/dining/ kitchen area with antique sofa, table for two. The cozy kitchen area is finished in oak and the original Rapolano stonework. The modern appliances include an oven, stove, microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, and teakettle. A window looks out over the beautiful piazza and tower. The bedroom has a 160cm queen-sized bed with antique canopy and view of the square below. There is a bathroom with travertine walls and sink, modern shower, and original frescoes.

<ul><li>There is no elevator in the building. Guests must walk up 46 steps to reach the apartment.</li>
<li>The apartment is in a restricted traffic zone and is therefore inaccessible by car. The nearest parking is Santa Caterina and costs approximately 35 Euros per day. </li>
<li>Given that Siena is a hill town with many stairs and narrow streets taking a taxi is recommended to reach the apartment.</li>
