The apartment is located in the heart of Lucca's historic city center and has a view of the Giunigi tower which dates back to the Medieval period and is one of the most well-known towers in town. Having been completely remodeled in 2012, the apartment is equipped with the most modern conveniences. The décor is modern with the occasional antique here and there which perfectly blends in and enhances the overall design. Restoration was done in such a way as to preserve the elegance and charm of the original architecture. Being an historical building is located on the second floor with no elevator but a stair with large steps.The original high oak-beamed ceiling in the living room lends space and grandeur to the apartment. Everything was perfect. The apartment is beautifully renovated with every convenience you could ask for. A bonus was that the very pleasant owners speak excellent English.

This is so easy to praise. We walked from the train station, met the wonderful Larisa , open the door straight off the street into a European foyer with loads of bikes then 48 stairs( not too hard , 2 floors but good for working...More

More about Lucca This historical Medieval town, once home to Napoleon’s sister, has retained its beautiful architecture. The city was also host to Puccini, which explains its rich musical heritage, and there are numerous concerts and festivals throughout the year. Its many activities, excellent restaurants, historical monuments (villas, churches, museums…) and romantic cobblestone streets make it a holiday must when touring Tuscany. It is ideally located for anyone wanting to discover Tuscany with Florence just 50 minutes by car, Pisa 25 minutes, and Sienna and the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are also only a short drive away.
