Fantastic Location
This apartment is in a great location and one can walk quickly to everything ! Pippa the owner was great to deal with and Eva her manager met us and showed us the Apartment, she told us the Apartment is very cool as its very old which was so far from the truth, it was 37 degrees outside and often the Apartment felt hotter on the inside , for 3 nights we didn't sleep because of the heat then on our final day we were looking for a broom to sweep up some crumbs on the floor and we noticed a cupboard that had fans so for anyone staying in the summer we can't stress enough to make sure you ask about the fans !!! Other than the heat the apartment was good and like we mentioned in an amazing location !

Best Location in Lucca
Everything about this apartment was good especially the location. Wi fi not always reliable no English television but we still enjoyed our stay.
As listed below the bathroom downstairs was far too small and we had a collapsed bed in the downstairs bedroom ....not funny when you are a senior in saying that we had a great holiday in lovely Lucca.

Excellent location in a beautiful city
Casa Cenami is a lovely, comfortable apartment inside the walls of old Lucca, italy. The apartment itself was comfortable for the 3 adults and 2 tween children in our party. The owner of a nearby B&B gave us the keys and very kindly stocked us with some food when we arrived late on a Saturday (he was concerned that we would not be able to shop for food on Sunday). At the time we were there, there was a music festival, and we could hear Norah Jones' concert through our open window at night - a free "seat" at the festival. Although the building was under renovation and the entryway/stairway was dirty with construction dust and had a bad smell, we had no problems in our apartment itself. The restaurant downstairs just outside the entrance has delicious food, but the restaurant on the corner, connected with a shop that sells wine and pastas and cured meat is an absolute must. We had one of the very best meals of our lives sitting out there one evening. We could walk everywhere from the apartment and enjoyed the freedom of stumbling across the enormous antiques fair that filled city streets on the Sunday we were there. Absolutely wonderful.

Casa Cenami is a truly delightful and convenient apt in Lucca.
My husband and I spent a wonderful vacation at this very attractive and centrally situated apt. Our two friends that also were with us loved the apt. It is very nicely furnished, and has everything that that is needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. One bathroom is brand new and spacious, the other a little small, but was no problem. The situation where the apt. is located is really good, as the great shops, markets, and concert halls are within a few minutes walk. The wall around the city has lovely views and great for a 3 mile walk, or just to walk/bike for a short distance, and then find one of the little cafe's for a delicious cup of coffee/wine/lunch/dinner etc. Enjoy!

Adventure with romance in Italy
The detailed description of this fabulous apartment within the walled city of Lucca is (as they say in Britain) 'spot on.' There were no surprises. The attention to detail throughout the apartment makes you feel at home immediately. We loved the antiques and original artwork that you will find in every room. We felt that we were staying in an authentic Italian home. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cabinets bright yellow color makes it feel sunny and warm inside even on a rainy day. Just as described, when you walk out the door onto the sidewalk, immediately to your left is a wonderful cafe. Lucca is an exceptionally beautiful city with great shopping and delectable food - for purchase to be cooked at home or to be eaten in one of its' many restaurants. Of course, the wine is superb - again, for celebrating at home, in this gorgeous apartment, or out on the town. The night life in Lucca is exciting and filled with possibilities. The fact that you know that your apartment is within easy walking distance to whatever you choose to do allows for evenings out without the worry of transportation. You can save money on your Italian adventure by not having to rent a car at all. Everything that you need is right in Lucca. If you do want to go somewhere else you can access the 'user friendly' public transportation. We are very active people and we loved walking/running every day around the 3 mile path for walkers, runners and cyclists that is located right along the wall that surrounds the city. There are many entrances up to the wall for easy use by visitors and locals alike.
We searched many other options for our stay in Lucca. The value of this very romantic apartment was not met anywhere else that we looked. We absolutely loved our stay. Staying in this apartment had everything thing to do with the overall enjoyment of our vacation. We would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat. We will highly recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Lovely apartment in Lucca
Everything about this apartment worked for us, from the efficient kitchen area to the very comfortable beds, to the proximity to Lucca's offerings, i.e., the shops, galleries, wonderful cafe's, and churches full of art. The rooms invite you in to relax with one of the interesting books, or to make and enjoy a leisurely meal while listening to the muted sounds of the old town. Without hesitation I would recommend these lovely rooms to anyone wishing to enjoy the convenience of modern living while at the same time experiencing the ambience of a very old culture.

Our flat is a two level apartment on the 2nd floor of an historic, well-cared for building. All the charm of past centuries: beamed ceilings; hand-crafted Lucca floor tiles that have been maintained but coupled with modern comfort and convenience. We provide free wireless so you can share your experiences with friends and family back home. An additional bathroom w/shower was added upstairs in 2011 to allow a bathroom & shower for each main bedroom. The apartment is ideal for 2 couples. A gourmet, fully equipped gas stove kitchen allows you to try out local produce and products. The two bedrooms both have a queen size beds and a small twin bed is off the upstairs bedroom. Antiques we purchased from Lucca's monthly antiques market outside our front door adorn the space but comfy couches allow for quiet afternoon naps. There's a washing machine, iron & ironing board upstairs. All linens and towels are provided. Plus we provide 2 bicycles to explore the ally ways and walls of Lucca.
CASA CENAMI allows for endless day trips. Catch the train, bus or drive to coastal Cinque Terre, the leaning tower of Pisa, the marble mining mecca of Pietrasanta, the palio horse races in Siena or other Tuscan hillside towns, miles of wine and olive oil routes and Florence is only 45 min drive away.
Getting to Lucca is easy. Fly direct from USA to Pisa. Catch a 25 min bus that goes direct from Pisa airport to inside the walls of Lucca. Then within a 5 min walk, you're home. Or fly into Florence and catch the bus or train to Lucca - transport here is easy.
