We really enjoyed the fact that the apartment is NOT in the city centre, but rather right near all the archaeological attractions... the city is a nice walk away so you can still enjoy all it has to offer without being in the thick of...More

From Catania: keep on highway until last exit to Siracusa (there is a label 'SIRACUSA'). Then take the SS 124 (Siracusa-Floridia) towards Syracuse. After the war cemetery and the city cemetery you will arrive at the south entrance of the town, consisting of a large roundabout. Turn left onto Viale Paolo Orsi (you realize you are in the right direction because you will see the modern Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears, the tallest building in the city).
