It overlooks the Circo Massimo and the Palatine Hill, and the Giardino degli Aranci offers one of the best views of Rome.

Not to miss: the Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta, the Pyramid of Caio Cestio, Porta Ostiense and the Protestant Cemetery, the Monte Testaccio, the Palatine and the Circo Massimo, the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin with the Bocca della Verità, the Theatre of Marcello and the Ottavia Porch, the Roman Forum, the Traiano’s Forum, the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and via del Corso, the Pantheon.
On Sunday you can walk over the funny and famous “Porta Portese” flea market.
