It has a slanted roof so lovely high ceilings. The lounge has two 2 seater sofas and a wood burning stove with French door going onto its own private terrace with teak furniture and a BBQ. This is ideal for a family of 4 who still want quality but at a slightly reduced rate as the lounge and kitchen are smaller than apt 3, 4 and 5. The kitchen has a modern feel with white units and black granite surfaces. It has all the mod cons as well as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. High chair and cots are available. The cot would have to go in the parents bedroom. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: M/MA/01290

A gem just up the hill

Padre Aviles is a true gem, located up the hill, a 10-15 minute drive to/from the supermarket and roads that easily connect you to center city Malaga and get you on your way to enjoy day trips to explore the Andalucia area. Enjoy a breath taking view, clean and well equipped accommodations and access to 2 pools, a toddler playground and 2 tennis courts. The Olivo is on the 2nd floor with two good-sized bedrooms, a spacious and clean bathroom, and a terrace that overlooks a beautiful olive tree and the pool. Get spoiled by the tranquility of Padre Aviles!

Hard to drag the kids away!

Had such a lovely time at Padre Aviles with our 4 and 6 year old. So peaceful and quiet, yet near enough to local beaches and restaurants. The apartments were lovely with everything you need. The pool was also fab, and it was very hard to drag the kids away to spend any time anywhere else. Lots of other nice things to do like tennis and ping pong, and our kids loved just playing on the big terrace with bikes, scooters and tricyles. It was also the perfect training ground for my cycling-crazy husband, who loved to spend his hours cycling up and down the huge hill!

Perfect

Upon arrival we knew we made the right choice staying away from the main city. This place is beyond perfect. A car is essential, unless you don't want to go touring around. When we arrived we were greeted by Claire's daughter. Very friendly, gave us some info on where to go and what is near by. Will definitely be looking at coming back. The pool was perfect, apartment was perfect, Claire even got us some juice, milk, wine and a homemade lemon sponge cake which both our boys loved. Also made us feel welcome with that little touch. Thanks for everything Claire and family.

Holiday getaway

Wow, an absolutely stunning place. Up in the hills so peaceful away from the hustle of the town but still within easy reach. Our boys (8 & 5) have loved it here. Its been a great place to unwind. The pool is perfect and not been very busy while we have been here. Claire and her family are so friendly and welcoming. A few essentials and a cake were left in our apartment for us arriving. We stayed in el olive lovely apartment very spacious and immaculate. Weather has been fabulous, we will definitely be back. Only downside is having to go home.

Blissful hoiiday

Perfect spot - away from it all in the hills but close enough to Malaga for shopping and restaurants. Apartment was a home from home, well furnished with all mod cons. Claire and David couldn't have been more welcoming. Our children loved the pool, which left us able to relax and catch up on holiday reading - heaven! Tips: a car is a must, Claire v. kindly organised the Spanish equivalent of an Ocado delivery before our arrival - a big winner, no rushing off to the supermarket on the first day!

A fantastic place to stay

This is the second time we have stayed here with our toddler son and both times it's been brilliant. The location is beautiful, it's up in the hills behind Malaga so nice and quiet but only a short drive to the coast/Malaga. The apartments are spacious and well furnished and the owners Claire and David are lovely and helpful. I'd highly reccommend it to young families.

About the neighbourhood

Malaga city centre is an attractive city full of history. The cathedral, castle and Picasso Museum are well worth a visit. There are many festival during the year, the main one being Semana Santa (Holy week) which takes place at Easter time. They have numerous proccesions that go on late into the night and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are lots of villages dotted around which are worth a visit. For more information please ask the owners David and Claire who will be very happy to help.

If you do not wish to hire a car, Taxis will come to Padre Aviles. There is a bus stop in the village and one 1.5 kms away.

Many Airline companies fly to Malaga International Airport. The flight takes 2hrs30 mins. We are 30 minutes from the ariport and will send you very detailed instructions of how to get here. There are lots of car rentals companies at the airport and we would be happy to give you any advise concerning Airline and car hire companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
