Great location on most prestigious street, Aude was a great communicator, recommended restaurants and fun things to do.
We suggest you visit the Institut Lumière, The miniature museum, the fine arts Museum, and the Basilica.
We also took a great wine tour to Beaujolais with tastelyon.com
We went in early July for 17 days, in the middle of a heat wave, so suggest you check the temperature forecast before booking. Weeknights we’re OK and fairly quiet but weekends tend to be noisy.

Aude was great and the apartment was very French, a nice experience for Americans.
Everything worked! How often does the happen? The internet was good, the clothes washer and dishwasher both worked and the heating was excellent. Aude even made the reservation for our cab to the train when we left. We loved the location, impossible to beat, and the many restaurants nearby. A good vacation for six.

Excellent apartment for a group
I have nothing but positive things to say about Aude's beautiful and very accommodating apartment right in the middle of Lyon. Wonderful reception, communication throughout was easy and everything just worked! Beds were comfortable , showers great, there was even a lift ! It was one of those rentals which is the beggining of a fabulous holiday!

Classic French apartment in a great location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The owner is in the building and did her best to make sure that we enjoyed the stay. It is very spacious and well equipped. A couple things to note for future renters. There are no laundry facilities. The 2nd floor in France is the 3rd floor in the U.S. and with the high ceilings, it was around 50 steps to the apartment. The owner does not have a car so couldn't advise us on the best parking options. We parked at the main parking facility and it cost us over $100 for 4 days. In retrospect, we could have done without the car and just rented one for the one day trip we did. I'm only mentioning these things in case it would make a difference to someone interested in renting this apartment. We absolutely enjoyed staying here, would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Lyon.

Thank you so much for you nice review, the elevator has been installed since july 2017. Regarding the laundry services, I just want to explain further for future guests: There is a washing machine and space to dry your clothes in one of the bathrooms. And if you prefer you have a laundry service on Ferrandiere street, just a 5 mn walk. If you come by car you have a public parking Republique, just a 10mn walk. However, situated in the heart of lyon,everything is just a short walk away. All of that Lyon has to offer, including its fantstic restaurants and museums, are right at your fingertips.
