The villa is easy walking distance to a quiet beach via footpaths directly down to it. This beach has no public road access and is a hidden jewel on this busy coast. In the other direction Monaco is just 1km by foot along footpaths that arrive to the Monte Carlo beach hotel and the Larvotto area. A gorgeous quiet walk away from the main road that passes by one of the most loved by locals and little known restaurants, La difference'.

About the neighbourhood
The area is a remarkable, quiet and pretty enclave. With no through road, traffic is a minimum and footpaths winding through giant Eucalyptus and pine trees it is a lovely to go by foot to the beach or into Monaco just 1km away.

The ancient village of Roqubrune is close by with it's 1000 year old olive tree tells the story of millennia of generations occupying the area. Restaurants, magnificent sea views and pretty cobbles streets make this a day out worth taking.

The glitz and glamour of Monaco is a short walk away. Go by foot along footpaths from the villa and you can largely avoid traffic and walking by the main road. It is scenic and relaxing and you arrive into Monaco close to Larvotto plage.

Supermarket, pharmacy, bakery close by.
Getting around
A car is not 100% necessary although with parking for two cars and as the villa sleeps nine people it is definitely an advantage. You can easily access everywhere by foot but the coastline has so much to offer; Italian food markets, artists retreat in St Paul de Vence, shopping in Cannes, Nice Old Town, you really get many holidays within one if you have your own transport.

Buses run from a few 100 metres away from the villa along the coast from Nice to Menton.

From Nice airport you can get to the villa easily by taxi, car or bus. The number 100 bus passess a few hundred metres from the villa and it is possible to do the short walk if your luggage is manageable.

Take the A8 motorway from the airport heading in the direction of Genes/Monaco.
Exit at junction 56 for Monaco (toll €2.40)
Continue on the D6007 (Moyenne Corniche) for about 3/4 km
At the roundabout take the first exit onto Avenue Jean Jaures.
Turn left onto Avenue Louis Laurens (approx 1km)
