The apartment entrance is directly opposite a studio apartment which is separately available for rental, accommodating a further 2 guests. New modern kitchen equipped with dishwasher & washing machine. New modern bright bathrooms with large showers. New sofas, dining tables and chairs. 200m walk from the beach, 50m from the old town sea wall with its dramatic sea views through to the Alps and the Cap d'Antibes. Excellent walks around Antibes old town, the largest yacht marina on the Mediterranean Sea. (frequented by Roman Abramovich's vessels and other billionaires), the Fort Carré and the Cap d'Antibes. 50m from the Picasso Museum in the Grimaldi mansion. Extracts from our printed guide leaflet: There is a lot to do and see in Antibes for a short visit so that a hire car is not really necessary. The train also provides an easy way to explore other places along the coast. East to Biot, Cagnes, Nice, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Eze, Monaco, Menton and Ventimiglia. West to Juan Les Pins, Cannes and Grasse. A car is only required if you want to explore inland, especially the famous old “perched” villages. The Picasso museum in the sea facing Grimaldi Chateau is just the other side of the old town ramparts 50m from the apartment. Picasso lived and worked in the Chateau for a period when he was into Ceramics. The museum has an excellent terrace looking out to sea. There are often spectacular views of the Maritime Alpes beyond Nice in the morning from the sea wall by the Cathedral and Museum. There are many of the worlds largest motor yachts in the marina (the biggest pleasure marina in the Mediterranean). Golfers have a choice of more than 15 courses within a 20-km radius. Other beaches and coastal walk: The other side of the Cap d'Antibes has some beaches too. If one side of the Cap is breezy and rough the other is usually calm and clear. Also, “Juan Les Pins” (where apparently Brigitte Bardot wore the first bikini in the 50s), which is effectively connected to Antibes but is on other side of the Cap has long sandy beaches. There is a spectacular coastal walk around the end of the Cap that can be reached from the parking at Plages de la Garoupe. In season there is a bus service. Restaurants: There are tens of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk of the apartment, and several just seconds away. Just a few doors up the road from the apartment are excellent little restaurants, such as Le Comptoir and Le Tour Ancienne. The chefs are amazing and match many Michelin starred restaurants for quality and presentation at a fraction of the cost. 'La Taverne du Safranier' in the hidden away square in the Safranier quarter a few minutes walk down pretty little streets - its a bit rustic but very authentic. 'Vauban' in Rue Thuret offers superb quality food with amazingly good value fixed priced menus - the chefs tasting menu is to die for. 'Les Vieux Murs' by the sea wall 50m from the apartment for open air dining with a view. A bit pricey but a wonderful treat. Local favourite Brulot's is busy, great value and surprisingly good with some excellent Provence specialities on the menu as well as pasta and pizza. The restaurant stays open very late and will often be serving food well past 11pm.

Well equipped apartment in excellent location
This is in excellent apartment in an ideal location for visiting Antibes and the surrounding area. Having been nearby before, we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed. Well equipped property and situated overlooking the Marché Provençal, it is a perfect place to watch the world below, listening to the sounds of the fabulous French Market, where there is always something happening. If you prefer however, the double glazed windows will shut this all out and there is very little disturbance. Conny was extremely accommodating and helpful, and the whole booking process very good. In short, food good, area good, accommodation good, what's not to like?

Lovely stay in the heart of old Antibes
Perfectly situated apartment for a stay in Antibes, right in the market area. Five-minute walk to beaches, the Picasso museum and the marina. Parking in nearby Pecheurs Q Park. 15-minute walk to the railway station. We took the train to Menton and Monaco. Modern, clean apartment with air conditioning in the bedrooms, king size beds and two en-suite bathrooms. Very comfortable, spacious stay for our family of five. Hope to return one day!

Great location
We ended our last three days here in Antibes. We returned our car at Nice airport then took Uber here. Nice to be without a car and just walk everywhere. The apartment was just a few doors down from where Uber dropped us off by the Provençal marche. We are 60 but able to get our luggage up the three flights of stairs easily. Plenty of space inside the apartment. Sofas are kind of wonky to sit on together but we each took our own if wanted to relax. Great bathrooms and anything you need in kitchen, although we did no cooking. Rather, we were outside enjoying Antibes. A very quick walk, about 10 minutes took us to the beaches and beautiful walk around the tip of Antibes. We enjoyed a whole day at beach club where you can rent chairs and umbrella. Restaurant there was excellent as well. Conny met us right on time to give us our keys and answer any questions. You could leave windows open if you wanted to hear the market. Once you closed them, total quiet. Air con in bedroom made it a joy to sleep - king bed. Great location, very clean and totally as advertised. We would stay here again.

Nice, modern apartment in perfect location
We stayed at this modern property for 2 weeks and were very satisfied with our stay. It was within walking distance of all that we needed (including beach near the port), as well as shopping, restaurants, etc. The nearby car park, Q-Park Resa, was also about 10min walk away. The two bedrooms have air conditioning which was a plus. Conny the property manager was always helpful. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect location and very helpful apartment manager Conny
We know Antibes well and have visited many times so we knew the location of this apartment was perfect for us. The living space layout was great for our party of two couples and very spacious with every facility we could need including beach parasol! The one down side for us was the very small ensuite bathroom and the sloping ceiling in the master bedroom. That said, we would definitely book again as it wasn't a problem.

How lucky to stay here
This is a great apt! The two bedrooms are comfortable and the two bathrooms are great. There are stairs to reach the apt and stairs ( two levels) inside the apt so if that is a problem for you, be aware. That said, this is such a great apt I cannot believe we got so lucky to stay here. Great appliances, clean, amazing location almost on the ocean. Restaurants and stores everywhere. The market is right outside your door. It is a little challenging to find at first. If you have a car, reserve a spot at a local lot in advance (Q-Resa is close by). Also a tip, try to be here on a Sunday for the phenomenal market. The best cheeses, fruits, meats, everything! Cannot wait to book for next time! Also many thanks to the superb manager, Conny, for the tips and the patience. We were late in arriving due to heavy traffic jams in Italy. Grateful to her and her welcome bottle of rose and fresh flowers!

About the neighbourhood
In the centre of Antibes old town with its many restaurants, bars and cafés. Looking out on the citadel walls that enclose the Grimaldi mansion where the Picasso museum is located. Ideally located within 20mins of Nice airport and in between Cannes and Monaco both of which are easily accessed by fast and cheap coastal train service. Also many other stunning locations to visit just minutes away by train such as Biot, Villefranche, Nice old town, Menton, Ventimiglia, Grasse, Mandelieu, La Napoule, Juan Les Pins, etc. A short drive in from the coast there are many beautiful 'perched' villages such as Mougins, St Paul, Eze, La Turbie, Gourdon. Many top quality golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. The extensive ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron (many red and black runs for the more experienced) are just an hour and a half drive into the Alps allowing a morning on the slopes and afternoon on the beach. Please request a map showing the exact location of the apartment and a written guide to Antibes old town and nearby place.
