About the neighbourhood
Chateau de Jalesnes is a short 20km drive up the valley from the town of Saumur. This gem of a find on the banks of the Loire has quality and class in its public buildings, restaurants and shops. Famed for Champigny wine and sparkling Cremants, it is fair to say that viniculture dominates however, as home to both the French Cavalry and the National Riding School, the horse is not far behind!
Come and enjoy the quaint little side streets with their bustling commerce; sit at a pavement café and watch life go by; visit the historic chateau and float down the river in a traditional boat.
We have everything you could demand from a holiday and just that little bit more. A warm welcome awaits.
