Situé au cœur de la ville médiévale de Troyes, à 50 m de la Cathédrale.
Le logement est pourvu d'une kitchenette équipée d'un lave-vaisselle, d'un four micro-ondes et d'un grille-pain (Thé, café fournis). La salle de bains privative comprend une douche.( sèche cheveux, serviettes )télévision à écran plat, coin salon, WC séparé. Le lit est fait à l'arrivée et les serviettes de toilettes sont fournies. Le stade de l'Aube est implanté à 1,4 km , le musée de l'Outil et de la Pensée Ouvrière à 1 km. Musée d'art moderne à 50 m.

Individuell, geschmackvoll und bequem
Das ganze ist eigentlich kein Hotel. Es besteht eher aus zwei Ferienwohnungen in einem in Fachwerk errichteten Hintergebäude neben dem Wohnhaus des sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzers. Ein abgeschlossener Innenhof dient als Parkplatz. Es geht zunächst durch einen kleinen grünen Hof, dann eine enge und steile Treppe ein Stockwerk hoch und Skepsis beschleicht einen. Es schießt einem durch den Kopf, na ja, alle anderen Hotels sind ausgebucht, was soll man machen? Und dann öffnet sich die Tür und man betritt ein kleines Paradies: Ein kurzer Flur mit WC, eine voll eingerichtete Wohnküche, ein großzügiges Bad mit geräumiger Dusche, wenn man sich etwas reckt, kann man aus dem Oberlicht sogar die vielleicht 50 Meter entfernte Kathedrale erspähen, weiter hinten kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem bequemen Grand Lit.
Auffällig die äußerst geschmackvolle Einrichtung, für die sich die Frau des Eigentümers offenbar viel Mühe gegeben hat: Vorhänge, Kissen, Sessel, Bett, alles in sehr guter Qualität, hellblaue und hellgraue Töne dominieren, es wirkt alles heiter und frisch und sogar angenehm kühl (und das bei 35 Grad an dem Nachmittag). In der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig und man schläft ungestört. Die Glocken der Kathedrale verstummen nach 22:00 und gehen erst um 8:00 wieder ans Werk. Ein Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, aber es steht eine Kaffeemachine bereit und im Küchenschrank findet man Kaffee und Tee wie auch genügend Geschirr und Besteck. . Croissants kann man sich in einer nah gelegenen Bäckerei besorgen. Wer mal in einem originellen Quartier nächtigen möchte, dem sei die Chat de la Catedral wärmstens sogar für einige Tage empfohlen. Warum nicht? Troyes ist schließlich eine sehr attraktive Stadt.

Tout a été parfait !
Merci à Patricia pour son accueil ! Le logement était d'une propreté irréprochable ! Petite bouteille de champagne offerte. La qualité des services dépasse largement ce qu'on peut trouver dans les hôtels. Si je reviens à Troyes, je réserverais à nouveau dans l'appartement le Chat de la Cathédrale ! On s'y sent bien et la déco a été faite avec goût !
